About Dr. Deanie
Clinical Director
Areas of Focus
Anxiety | OCD | Women with ADHD | Over-thinking | Perfectionism | Relational issues
I am a licensed clinical psychologist (PSY29612) and the clinical director of Mindful Therapy Incorporated. Before attending graduate school, I earned my early childhood teaching credential and taught preschool which helps inform my work with families. I work best with overly analytical, high achieving women in their 20s and 30s. I am passionate about supporting new mothers and their children, coming from a place of both personal and professional experience.
I believe people unlock their full potential when they know who they are and what they want. I help you understand your feelings as useful information rather than an inconvenience or something to avoid. I am not a passive therapist who will "just listen." I am direct and compassionate. I help people understand themselves so they can achieve more and live a more meaningful, enriching life.

My motto for therapy is
Work in the present, understand your past, change your future.

When appropriate, I integrate aspects of attachment-focused AF-EMDR into my treatment to help treat both big and small traumas. Additionally, I work from a culturally sensitive, LGBTQ+ allied perspective, aiming to create a safe space for people seeking treatment.
